SAGE SCLAREA ESSENTIAL OIL

Description

Sage sclarea essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of the botanical species Salvia Sclarea L. of the Labiadas family.

It is a plant that can reach more than 1.5 m. tall, with large bluish to pinkish flowers, which is where the smell is concentrated in addition to the stem, since its large leaves, which also characterize this plant, lack it.

Currently this plant is cultivated and distilled in many countries, the main producers being Russia, Ukraine, France and China.
